Both operators carry motorbikes on this route, billed separately from the passenger ticket. Book the bike at least 3 to 5 days ahead when you buy your passenger ticket, because each sailing has limited space, and drain most or all of the fuel into a bottle before boarding. Each port end also charges a porter handling fee of 30,000 to 50,000 VND per trip. Hoa Binh Ship accepts bikes only from Rach Gia, not from Nam Du. No operator carries cars.

Cancellation, Refund and Ticket Change Policy
Superdong and Hoa Binh Ship charge a 30% fee for a cancellation requested at least 24 hours before departure, and later requests are not refundable. Neither operator refunds or changes tickets on weekends, holidays or Tet, or when a sailing has fewer than five tickets remaining or is full. Superdong allows name changes before departure and Hoa Binh Ship does not. If an operator cancels a sailing for weather or safety, passengers receive a full refund or a free change to the nearest departure.
