Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Ferry VN booking website and related passenger ticketing services. By booking ferry tickets on this platform, you enter into a legally binding agreement with Ferry VN JSC.

Copyright and Trademarks

All content, website architecture, logos, text, graphics, icons and software on Ferry VN are the intellectual property of Ferry VN JSC or its licensed content providers. Unauthorized reproduction, copying, distribution or commercial exploitation of any site materials without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Any disputes arising from ticket bookings or service provision shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court in Can Tho City, Vietnam, where the Ferry VN head office is located.

User Obligations

When using Ferry VN, travelers agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete and truthful passenger details matching official passports or identity cards.
• Ensure that passport numbers, nationality and visa documentation meet Vietnamese entry and travel regulations.
• Pay all ticket fees and applicable surcharges promptly during checkout.
• Not use the platform for speculative, fraudulent or duplicate bookings.
• Comply with all port authority regulations and vessel safety guidelines during boarding and transit.

Booking Terms

Ferry VN acts as an authorized ticketing agency connecting passengers with licensed ferry operators. A booking is confirmed only when full payment is received and an official electronic ticket with a scannable QR code is delivered to the customer email address.

Seat allocations on board vessels are managed in coordination with operator reservation systems. Ferry operators reserve the right to reassign seats within the same class for operational or safety reasons.

Service Pricing

All fares displayed on Ferry VN are quoted in Vietnamese Dong (VND) and include applicable taxes and port terminal passenger fees unless explicitly stated otherwise. Fares are determined by operator price schedules and differ between adult, child, senior and vehicle categories.

Payment Methods

Payments can be completed using approved international debit and credit cards, bank transfer systems or designated digital payment methods. The customer agrees to bear any foreign transaction or currency conversion fees assessed by their issuing financial institution.

Payment Timeline

Ticket reservations must be paid in full at the time of booking. Unpaid booking requests are canceled automatically after the payment gateway session expires.

Service Cancellation and Fees

Cancellations and ticket modifications are governed by operator specific regulations. Most fast ferry operators charge 30 percent of the ticket fare when notified at least 24 hours before departure, while Thanh Thoi and Binh An car ferry tickets are not refundable. When the operator cancels a fast ferry sailing because of adverse weather or safety reasons, passengers receive a full refund or free rescheduling to the nearest sailing. Thanh Thoi and Binh An car ferries move passengers to a suitable departure instead of refunding.

Complaints and Resolution

Customers with inquiries or complaints regarding ticketing services should contact our support team at hi@ferry.vn or on +84 924 299 898 within seven days of the travel date. Ferry VN will investigate and respond within three business days.

Changes

Ferry VN reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Revised terms become effective immediately upon publication on this website. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
