Superdong Fast Ferry is a passenger ferry operator in southern Vietnam, founded in 2003 and traded on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange under ticker SKG. Onboard Experience and Amenities

Every Superdong vessel offers a single Economy class with air conditioning, cushioned seats, television monitors, clean restrooms, certified life jackets and an outdoor deck. The larger vessels seat passengers on two decks, for example Superdong III with 184 places on the lower deck and 122 on the upper deck. Staff hand out complimentary bottled drinking water, a cold towel and a seasickness bag when you board, and the longer crossings to Con Dao, Nam Du and Phu Quy add complimentary drinks. Since September 14, 2026, Superdong has docked at Ben Dam Port instead of Con Dao Passenger Port. Ben Dam Port is 12 km from Con Dao town center. In Tran De, Superdong departs from its own Superdong Soc Trang Port in Dau Giong Hamlet, about 4.1 km from Tran De Fishing Port, where Phu Quoc Express boards.

Superdong ferry Phu Quoc service covers three crossings: Ha Tien to Phu Quoc in about 1h30, Rach Gia to Phu Quoc in about 2h30 and Phu Quoc to Tho Chau in about 2h30. The Phu Quoc to Tho Chau route serves Vietnamese citizens only, departing Monday, Wednesday and Friday and returning Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Superdong sells standard Economy fares across all routes. Fares are in VND per passenger, one way.

Children under 6 travel free of charge when sharing a seat with an adult. Child tickets apply to passengers aged 6 to 11. Senior discounts apply to Vietnamese citizens aged 60 and older. On the Phan Thiet to Phu Quy route, reclining seats are available at 392,727 VND, and Superdong Phu Quy II has 30 of them among its 246 places. Fares remain fixed every day of the week with no weekend surcharges.

Travel Tips for Superdong Passengers

• Arrive at the departure terminal 30 to 45 minutes before departure for ticket verification and boarding. Passengers shipping motorbikes must arrive 60 minutes before departure.
• Vietnamese citizens must present an original citizen identity card, passport or verified VNeID account. International passengers must present an original valid passport and visa. Children under 14 require an original birth certificate.
• Each passenger is entitled to 10 kg of free luggage. Excess baggage is weighed and charged at the terminal baggage counter before boarding. Explosives, flammable materials, chemicals, weapons, drugs and strong-smelling or leaking items are prohibited.
• Motorbikes are accepted on six routes, including Rach Gia to Phu Quoc, Ha Tien to Phu Quoc, Soc Trang to Con Dao, Rach Gia to Nam Du, Rach Gia to Hon Son and Rach Gia to Hon Tre. Space is limited to 10 to 15 motorbikes per sailing, so reserve 3 to 5 days in advance. Fuel must be drained into bottles before loading, and terminal handling fees of 30,000 to 50,000 VND apply at each pier. On the Phan Thiet to Phu Quy route, motorbikes ship as cargo for 250,000 to 300,000 VND per vehicle each way, excluding pier handling fees. Cars are not transported on any Superdong vessel.
