Phu Quoc Express suspended the Vung Tau to Con Dao route on August 1, 2026, and expects to resume service in January 2027. Monday is a maintenance day with no sailing in either direction. The schedule can also change with the weather.

Cau Da Port is at Front Beach, opposite the path up to Vung Tau Lighthouse. It is 200 m on foot from the beach, about 800 m from Bach Dinh and 1.9 km from Ho May Pier. Getting to Cau Da Port from Ho Chi Minh City
There are three common ways to reach Cau Da Port:
- Morning limousine on the same day: leave Ho Chi Minh City between 04:00 and 04:30 to reach the port before 06:30. Most limousine services run a free shuttle to the port.
- Arrive the afternoon before: stay a night near Front Beach, then walk or take a 5 minute taxi to the port.
- Water combo: take the Ho Chi Minh to Vung Tau ferry the day before, stay a night in Vung Tau, and take Thang Long the next morning. That ferry lands at Ho May Pier, 1.9 km, about 4 minutes by taxi, from Cau Da Port. The next morning must be a Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday.
