Cancellation Policy

Review the conditions, deadlines and fees for canceling or changing your Vietnam ferry ticket bookings. Cancellation and exchange rules are determined by individual ferry operators and applied through Ferry VN.

Cancellation Conditions

Passengers may cancel confirmed ferry tickets subject to the following standard requirements:

• The cancellation request must be submitted prior to the operator designated cutoff deadline before scheduled departure.
• E-tickets must be unused and not yet checked in at the port terminal.
• Superdong, Phu Quoc Express, Greenlines DP, Hoa Binh Shipping and Lightning 68 do not refund or exchange tickets on weekends, public holidays and Tet, or when a sailing has fewer than five tickets left.
• Partial cancellations for individual passengers within a group booking are permitted where operator ticketing systems allow.

Change Conditions

Ticket modifications include changing sailing dates, adjusting departure times or updating passenger name details:

• Changes depend on seat availability on the requested alternative sailing.
• Date and departure time changes must be requested within the permitted advance notice window.
• Fare differences apply if the alternative sailing has a higher fare tier. If the new ticket has a lower fare, the difference is non-refundable.
• Phu Quoc Express permits one free passenger name change when requested at least 24 hours prior to departure.

Requests submitted after the cutoff deadline or after vessel departure are treated as no-shows and are non-refundable.

Fees by Operator

Cancellation fees are calculated as a percentage of the total ticket fare. The remaining balance is returned to the original payment method. Booking processing fees assessed by payment gateways may be non-refundable.

To request a ticket cancellation or schedule change, submit your request through one of our official support channels:

• Email: Send your booking code and change details to hi@ferry.vn.
• WhatsApp: Message our customer team at +84 924 299 898 with your e-ticket attachment.
• Online form: Submit an inquiry through the contact us page.

Always include your booking confirmation code, passenger full names and requested alternative departure date to expedite processing.

Processing Time

Cancellation requests are reviewed within two hours, every day between 06:00 and 21:00 Vietnam time. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment card within seven to fifteen business days depending on your issuing bank.
