Phu Quy Express 02, nicknamed the Pink Ship for its red-pink hull, was built in Vietnam in 2026 and is the only fast ferry with sleeper berths from central Saigon. The lower deck holds 126 standard seats and the upper deck holds 262 VIP seats. The 114 berths are 106 standard berths with a curtain, charging outlet and reading light, plus 8 VIP cabins.
Berths cut seasickness better than seats on the long open-sea crossing. If no berth is left, pick a VIP seat for the extra recline. The lower berths near the door, such as G8, G10, G23 to G26 and G55 to G58, are the most convenient.

The trimaran docks only at Ben Dam because its deep draft cannot enter Con Dao Passenger Port in town. Ben Dam lies about 12 km from Con Dao town, 20 to 25 minutes by taxi for 140,000 to 150,000 VND, or by electric bus at 20,000 VND per km. Tell your hotel or driver you are arriving at Ben Dam Port. Getting to Nha Rong Port
Nha Rong Port is 3 km from central Saigon, 10 to 15 minutes by taxi for 30,000 to 80,000 VND, and 8 km from Tan Son Nhat Airport, 20 to 30 minutes for 100,000 to 180,000 VND. The new Mien Dong bus station is 28 km away, 45 to 60 minutes for 180,000 to 250,000 VND. Say Nha Rong Port at 5 Nguyen Tat Thanh Street when you book a ride.

Every class has air conditioning, TV, free Wi-Fi that weakens far offshore, life jackets, restrooms and a snack and drinks counter, and passengers get bottled water, a cold towel and a seasickness bag. Each berth has a charging outlet.
About 20% of the trip runs on the Saigon River and 80% on open sea. The sea is calm from March to September and can be rough from October to February, so take seasickness medicine 30 to 60 minutes before departure.
