Victoria Speedboat and Hang Chau Express both run the return every day and finish at the Victoria Chau Doc Hotel pier. Victoria Speedboat leaves central Phnom Penh at 13:30 and takes about 5 hours. Hang Chau Express leaves the International Floating Port at 103 Sisowath Quay at 12:30 and reaches Chau Doc at 18:30 after 6 hours 30 minutes, with the same border formalities as the outbound trip. The adult fare from Phnom Penh is 1,580,000 VND, which is 60,000 VND less than from Chau Doc.

Victoria Speedboat and Hang Chau Express

These one-way fares are the same on both operators, run from June 1, 2026 to May 31, 2027, and are the same on weekdays and weekends. Children under 3 travel free, children aged 4 to 7 pay half the adult fare, and passengers aged 8 and over pay the adult fare. A bicycle costs 50% of the adult fare. Tickets are sold one way at a time, so a return trip means buying both directions.

A Victoria Speedboat ticket includes an English-speaking host, mineral water, a cold towel, a beer or soft drink, seasonal fruit and cakes, a restroom on board, VAT and passenger accident insurance. Hang Chau Express boards at the same pier and also charters private speedboats with 22, 32, 38 or 60 seats, with a departure time of your choice. The boat crosses at Song Tien or Vinh Xuong in Vietnam and Kaam Somnor in Cambodia, and the border checks take about 2 hours, longer in high season. Going to Cambodia, pay for a visa on arrival at USD 37 including the service fee. Bring your passport only, with no photo, and fill in the form on the boat. A Cambodian e-Visa is not accepted at either border post. Going to Vietnam, apply for a Vietnam e-Visa yourself before you travel and keep the printed copy inside your passport.

Cancellation, Refund and Ticket Change Policy

Cancel at least 7 days before departure to get a refund, on Victoria Speedboat and Hang Chau Express alike. You cancel your ticket yourself in your Ferry VN account, with no email to the operator. Closer to departure, a ticket can only move to another date with no refund.
